Happy Birthday Michelle!
I had the privilege of taking some wonderful family and friends portraits as a lovely gift from an awesome husband, Chris, to his beautiful wife, Michelle. What a great husband Chris is…every year for his wife’s birthday, he rents and ocean front house in Nags Head, NC and invites their best friends from high school, who, most have been friends for over 20 years! They all spend a fun filled 
weekend together without their kids! This year he hired my services to take some family, friends, and couple portraits on the beach. I wish I could have stayed for the rest of the weekend with them. That Friday night looked like the start of a very fun weekend! Thanks Chris, Michelle and the rest of the gang! Day uno of my new blog!
I am so excited! I have my photography website: http://www.loridouglasphotography.com that shows a sampling of my work, but I wanted a quick and fun way to show clients my favorite, great photos from their photoshoots soon after they take place. I have had such a wonderful summer meeting many great people from awesome families, and I even shot several beautiful weddings! Thanks so much to all my friends and clients for spreading my name!
This photo is from a wedding that took place at sunrise on Sept. 18, 2010 in Kill Devil Hills at The Ramada Inn, and it was my first “Trash the Dress” shots of a bride. My son has named her “The Urban Mermaid”! I will post more great photos of this awesome bride later!
